Sakana Fugu 🐡 orchestrates frontier models through one OpenAI-compatible API, and Sakana Namazu brings Japanese language and business context to developers at a practical price. Both are available through the same API. Many enterprises will first meet Sakana inside the products of the software vendors they already trust. This position is the first dedicated ISV partnership member of the GTM team. You will build the ISV partner ecosystem from scratch: who we partner with, how we integrate, how we sell together and how we measure it, working with GTM leadership, the API Platform team, Marketing, Legal and Security.
Responsibilities
- Define the ISV partnership strategy and target list, across Japan and global markets (enterprise SaaS, data and analytics, security and vertical software), prioritized by customer overlap, integration fit and product availability by region
- Recruit and sign ISV partners, and structure the commercial model (referral, resale, embedded usage, revenue share) together with Legal and Finance
- Drive technical integrations with the API Platform team and Developer Marketing: scope integrations, publish reference architectures and sample integrations, and define the criteria for a certified Sakana integration; track time from agreement to first production usage
- Own co-sell with the sales team: joint account plans, deal registration, partner-sourced and partner-influenced pipeline, and regular pipeline reviews with partner sales teams
- Manage listings and programs on cloud and software marketplaces where Sakana is available, in line with product availability by region
- Build the ISV program: partner tiers, onboarding, enablement, and security and data-handling documentation aligned with our trust materials; run joint content and events with Enterprise Marketing
- Feed partner and end-customer insights back to product and research teams
- Drive seamless collaboration across global teams and partners utilizing both Japanese and English
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in partnerships, alliances or business development with ISV, SaaS or platform companies, with partner-sourced revenue you can describe from agreement to results
- Experience structuring technical and commercial partnerships (integration scope, pricing, revenue share, support commitments) and negotiating with partner executives and legal teams
- Enough technical fluency to discuss APIs and LLM capabilities with partner product teams and engineers. We expect you to use AI tools to learn quickly; what matters is that you take responsibility for the accuracy of what you commit to partners
- Experience running co-sell motions with partner sales organizations in Japan and in at least one other region
- Ability to autonomously drive initiatives in an unestablished, fast-paced startup environment
- Native or professional fluency in both Japanese and English
- Preferred: experience listing on or selling through cloud or software marketplaces; relationships in the Japanese and global SaaS and enterprise software ecosystems; experience at an AI, cloud or developer platform company

役割と責任
- ISVパートナーシップの戦略と対象リストを定義する。日本およびグローバル市場（企業向けSaaS、データ・分析、セキュリティ、業界特化型ソフトウェア）を対象に、顧客の重なり、連携の適合度、地域ごとのプロダクト提供状況で優先順位づけする
- ISVパートナーを開拓、契約し、法務および経理と連携して取引モデル（紹介、再販、組み込み利用、レベニューシェア）を設計する
- API PlatformチームおよびDeveloper Marketingと連携して技術連携を推進する。連携範囲の設定、リファレンスアーキテクチャとサンプル連携の整備、認定連携の基準の策定を行い、契約から本番利用開始までの期間を追跡する
- 営業チームと共同販売（コセル）を担う。共同アカウントプラン、ディール登録、パートナー起点・パートナー関与のパイプライン、パートナーの営業チームとの定例パイプラインレビュー
- Sakanaが提供されているクラウドおよびソフトウェアのマーケットプレイスへの掲載とプログラムを、地域ごとのプロダクト提供状況に沿って管理する
- ISVプログラム（パートナー区分、オンボーディング、イネーブルメント、Trust資料と整合したセキュリティ・データ取り扱い資料）を構築し、Enterprise Marketingと共同コンテンツやイベントを運営する
- パートナーとエンドユーザーのインサイトをプロダクトチームやリサーチャーに還元する
- 日本語と英語両方を用いるグローバルなチームおよびパートナーとのコラボレーション
応募資格およびスキル
- ISV、SaaS、プラットフォーム企業とのパートナーシップ、アライアンス、事業開発の実務経験6年以上。契約から成果まで説明できるパートナー起点の売上実績
- 技術面と商用面を併せたパートナーシップ（連携範囲、価格、レベニューシェア、サポート条件）の設計経験、およびパートナーの経営層・法務との交渉経験
- パートナーのプロダクトチームやエンジニアとAPIやLLMの機能について議論できる技術的な理解。AIツールを使って素早く学ぶことを前提としています。重要なのは、パートナーに約束する内容の正確さに自ら責任を持てることです
- 日本および他の少なくとも一つの地域で、パートナーの営業組織との共同販売を運用した経験
- 確立された型のない環境で自律的に立ち上げを推進できる能力
