Sakana AIは本日、「Sakana Chat（サカナ・チャット）」をアップデートしました。先日APIとして公開したオーケストレーターモデル「Fugu Max」を全ユーザーに提供し、あわせて会話の内容を引き継ぐメモリー機能を追加しました。

Sakana Chatは、APIを介さずに私たちが開発するモデルをそのままお試しいただける場として、2026年3月にSakana Namazuのα版とともに公開しました。8月のアップデートではSakana Fuguを加えてモデルを選べるようにしたほか、コードの実行や画像・ドキュメントの添付にも対応しました。
Sakana Fuguが最新モデルになりました
Sakana Chatに搭載するSakana Fuguを、最新モデル「Fugu Max」に切り替えました。多様なオープンモデルを束ね、プロンプトの内容に応じて最適なモデルに処理を割り振ることで、単一のモデルに頼らずフロンティアモデルに匹敵する性能を実現したモデルです。追加の設定は必要なく、モデル選択でFugu Maxを選べば、本日から最新モデルで動作します。

会話の内容を覚える「メモリー」を追加しました
Sakana Chatに、メモリー機能を追加しました。これまでは会話を終えるたびに前提がリセットされていましたが、役割や文体の好みなど、一度伝えた内容を次回以降の会話にも引き継げるようになります。メモリー機能はNamazu・Fugu Maxのどちらでも使えます。記憶した内容は設定画面からいつでも確認でき、機能をオフにすることもできます。なお、記憶されるのは本アップデート以降の会話で、過去の会話は対象になりません。

Sakana Chat Update: Fugu Max for Everyone, Now with Memory
Today we released an update to Sakana Chat. Fugu Max, the orchestrator model we recently made available via API, is now available to all users, and we have added memory, which carries what you have told Sakana Chat over into your next conversation.

Sakana Chat has served as a place to try the models we develop without going through an API, since we launched it in March 2026 alongside the alpha version of Sakana Namazu. Our update in August added Sakana Fugu so that you can choose between models, and introduced code execution and image and document attachments.
Sakana Fugu Now Runs on Our Latest Model
The Sakana Fugu available in Sakana Chat now runs on our latest model, Fugu Max. It brings together a diverse pool of open models and routes each prompt to the model best suited to it, reaching performance on par with frontier models without relying on any single one. No setup is required: select Fugu Max from the model picker and you are using the latest model as of today.

Memory: Sakana Chat Remembers Your Context
Until now, Sakana Chat started from scratch every time a conversation ended. With memory, what you tell it once (your role, the project you are working on, how you like answers formatted and written) carries over into later conversations, so you no longer need to begin each one with the same explanation. Memory works with both Namazu and Fugu Max. You can review what has been remembered from the settings screen at any time, or turn the feature off entirely. Memory begins with conversations from this update onward; earlier conversations are not included.
