In 2025, the company announced strategic partnerships with Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) and Daiwa Securities Group, initiating the development of custom AI models tailored for highly specialized financial domains. Furthermore, during its Series B round, Sakana AI expanded its global footprint with the participation of Santander Group (Spain, via its venture capital arm, Mouro Capital).
